Kwara is to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with a foreign aviation school for the training of pilots and related professionals. The state government's school of aviation is to take off soon, the governor, Dr Bukola Saraki told newsmen on Sunday at Murtala Muhammed Airport. He said collaboration with the UAE-based school, the aviation college in the state would offer training which would meet international standard and make alternative training abroad unnecessary. Saraki said the state also planned to complete its cargo airport by December to provide modern facilities that would help reduce the congestion in Lagos. He urged the federal government to fast-track all the paper work on the projects, and gave the assurance that the innovation would make a difference in the aviation sector.
